After this writer's acclaimed story about an elderly man's road trip was converted into a 2023 film, it included multiple beautiful musical numbers by Sam Lee. In recent months, another musician Passenger created the music and lyrics for the theatrical version, which is moving to the city's performance hub in January. Passenger's album of musical interpretations, One for the Road – including extra songs that were cut from the stage production and a collaboration from actor Jack Wolfe, who acted as the storytelling character – is currently available to stream.
